Floyd Mayweather Jr. retires from Boxing in style.

Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. won  his 49th fight and ended his final bout in style.

The 38-year old easily outboxed Andre Berto, winning their welterweight match in a unanimous decision Saturday night 12th August, 2015 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. In front of a partisan Mayweather crowd of 13,395 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, where the man nicknamed “Money” has fought his last 12 fights, Mayweather put on a masterful performance, showing the quickness that is his trademark, and making his overmatched opponent miss throughout the fight. One judge, Adelaide Byrd, scored the fight a shutout for Mayweather, 120-108, while Steve Weisfeld had it 118-110 and Dave Moretti 119-111 for Mayweather’s complete domination.

Mayweather said his undefeated career record, matched only by the legendary Rocky Marciano, was nonetheless meant to be broken.

“Hopefully, we can find the next Floyd Mayweather who can break the record. Right now, I only want to spend time with my family,” he said.
